VP, Commercial - Enterprise Emerging Markets

Overview:
Develops strategies and executes plans to identify and close profitable Enterprise and Emerging Market growth opportunities.
Creates effective relationships with c-suite personnel in Enterprise and Emerging Markets to include clinical testing agreements and unique information products and services.
Leads a business development organization in achievement of annual sales goals in multiple channels to include FQHCs, ACOs, Public Health, Tribal, Correctional, Assisted Living, Retail Clinics, Consumer Testing, Tele-Medicine, Government Sponsored Testing, Urgent/Injury Care, Consolidators, and other non-traditional arrangements.
Responsibilities:
Leads a strategy team in developing plans and gaining support for business plans and market strategies.
Manages directly and through others business development professionals and is responsible for budgeting, forecasting, targeting, pipelining, pricing and obtaining revenue results.
Directly leads a small team of highly motivated business development executives in search of non-traditional deals.
Recruits and develops business development executives with strong business acumen, negotiation and presentations skills who can cultivate c-suite relationships.
Networks and builds collaborative relationships with Quest regional commercial leaders, health plans and franchises to develop and execute strategic plans in the Enterprise and Emerging segments.
Develops product strategies, tactical marketing and operational elements in support of commercial objectives.
Executes cross functional strategic plans by bringing together the key people, processes and functions to deliver unique or modified solutions for these opportunities.
Monitors and ensures customer satisfaction with on-going services; develops proposals to enhance business relationships and to expand our service offering.
Owns and facilitates C-Suite relationships and the growth strategy for assigned strategic accounts, institutions and associations.
Maintains awareness and strong working relationships with company joint ventures and various outreach partners, as well as National GPO contracting teams to fully leverage growth opportunities.
Stays abreast of changes in the marketplace impacting customers and opportunities for developing new products for niche, emergency, and emerging markets.
Maintains a working knowledge of the companys differentiating products and those of the competitors.
Develops effective relationships with key personnel in targeted opportunities to explore emerging healthcare delivery models and the role of Quest Diagnostics as a strategic business partner.
Qualifications:
QUALIFICATIONS Required Work
Experience:
Ten or more years as a Commercial people leader selling to and servicing large, strategic accounts.
Successful business development experience in laboratory services with B2B transactions.
Experience working with healthcare provider networks and a broad expanse of affiliated organizations.
Demonstrated success working collaboratively in a matrixed organization.
Demonstrated strong business development and closing skills which resulted in YOY revenue growth.
