About the role:
The Senior Director of Global Product Marketing will lead the global marketing growth and execution strategy for our Coronary Therapies (CT) products, specifically leading the strategies, tactics, and initiatives to drive continued global market leadership.
The director will also have direct responsibility for the U.
S.
marketing team and accountability for delivering the plan.
This leader will partner collaboratively with other marketing leaders, including the Director of Commercial Marketing, the Director of Strategy and Portfolio, and Global Regional leaders, along with cross-functional leaders to identify innovative strategies to drive business growth.
Boston Scientific will be first to the US market with a drug coated balloon and has invested meaningfully in the Interventional Heart Failure space.
This Senior Director of Global Product Marketing will provide essential leadership as we commercialize into new product categories.
This role requires a leader who can drive transformational growth, develop talent, and leverage organizational influence to establish strategies and tactics to advance the franchise.
The director will leverage their experience in portfolio marketing, global launch excellence, strategic planning, and cross-functional collaboration to accelerate business success.
Based on deep understanding of the market, they will build strategies that consistently foster customer focus, organizational communication, and a global mindset.
This is a hybrid role, based out of our Maple Grove, MN or Marlborough, MA locations.
Your responsibilities will include:
Deliver profitable growth and maximize global market opportunities by prioritizing markets and target segments.
Identify opportunities for global market development and independently execute tactics, leveraging cross-functional teams to achieve team goals.
Lead change and effectively manage conflict across multiple levels and functions.
Attract, lead, and develop direct reports.
Actively coach and mentor organizational talent by creating opportunities for challenge and skill advancement, with appropriate reward and recognition.
Measure direct report performance and provide feedback.
Develop succession plans and long-range organizational plans.
Foster a diverse and inclusive workplace that enables high performance, enriches workplace culture, spurs innovation and strengthens relationships with colleagues, communities, and customers.
Guide the team responsible for U.

Commercial Launch plans (positioning, customer targeting, pricing, branding, evidence strategy, KOL strategy, etc.
) for upcoming launches.
Accountable for delivering the launch KPIs.
Make and execute operational decisions with a strategic perspective.
Collaborate and align with Sales, global counterparts, and cross-functional team members to ensure the strategies work in synergy to deliver global revenue and profit objectives.
Establish strong relationships with other functions impacting franchise marketing activities (Medical Affairs, Medical Education, Sales Training, Clinical, Sustaining, R&D, HEMA, Finance, Global Supply Chain, etc.
).

region.
Coordinate marketing strategies, action plans, and communication across the product families to optimize impact, ensure customer satisfaction, and synergistically deliver on operating plan targets for this region.
Continuously measure the impact of marketing initiatives, generating early learnings, and driving continuous improvement to achieve revenue and operating income targets.
Continually interact with other franchise/divisional peers to share, and promote, best practices.
Monitor competitive landscape; anticipate competitive response to changing market dynamics; and proactively develop BSC strategies to combat competitive activity.
Build Quality into all aspects of their work by maintaining compliance to all quality requirements.
Required
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree focused on business, marketing, or significant relevant commercial experience.
Minimum 12 years of relevant commercial experience Minimum 5 years of experience in functional management.
Proven ability to develop new, strategic business programs and positively impact business trajectories with experience in customer segmentation and targeting, competitive blunting, new product development and commercialization.
Minimum 2 years of Sales experience Significant commercial leadership experience including proven ability to manage P&L with accountability.
Demonstrated success driving global launch excellence for new products.
Experience working globally in a virtual & matrix organization as a Director, directly across multiple countries/regions, with proven ability to work within areas of cultural difference or consumer sensitivity.
Ability to travel domestically and internationally, estimated 30% travel.
Preferred
Qualifications:
MBA focused on business, marketing, or significant relevant commercial experience.
Commercial experience within pharmaceutical, medical device experience with capital/disposable platforms Experience related to interventional cardiology or structural heart market, ideally at the director level In-region international commercial experience Strong strategic skill set and proactive cross-functional team player with capability to communicate concisely at a senior management level and across business units Action oriented strategic thinker, with a natural ability to collaborate with a wide array of stakeholders Ability to engage and influence cross-functional colleagues, even without direct reporting relationships Executive presence and ability to influence across multiple levels Requisition ID:
