What You'll Be Doing:
- This position is for a Process Control Technician to work in the Electronics & Industrial (E&I) Marlborough maintenance group providing value through maintenance support throughout the site.
- Candidate will support the Automation and Process Control systems and provide first contact support to operations, maintenance, and automation engineers.
- Candidate will participate in regular and scheduled maintenance activities with vendor/contractor support and other maintenance functions.
- Candidate will implement and support control system best practices under the direction of the Site Electrician/Process Automation Engineer and/or other A&PC guidance.
- Perform condition monitoring, maintenance, and troubleshooting of Control Systems DeltaV and GE Fanuc/ Allen-Bradley PLC, VFD, and communication systems.
- Hands-on experience in the Delta V system and PLC's
- Perform software maintenance of all relevant systems.
- Responsible for Password integrity of all Control systems. Assign system access levels.
- Ensure sufficient stock of spare parts for Control Systems, Information Technology, and communication systems.
- Liaise with other departments for coordination of maintenance activities.
- Ensure that vendors and contractors are managed safely and effectively.
- Minimum 2 or more years of industrial maintenance experience in electrical and instrument maintenance
- Control Equipment/electrical technician apprenticeship card or Licensed electrician.
- General computer skills - familiar with Microsoft software tools.
- Able to frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, standing, walking, sitting, grasping tools and equipment, reaching with hands and arms, climbing ladders, stooping, kneeling, crouching, bending, and balancing.
