Customer Service Representative - Technical ProductsHOERBIGER Safety Solutions, IEP Technologies (IEP) is seeking a Customer Service Representative to join our team in Marlborough, MA. The Customer Service Representative provides exceptional customer service and sales support for the IEP and Newson Gale brand of products at IEP Technologies in Marlborough, a part of HOERBIGER Safety Solutions. This role will own the order management process from order-to-invoice to service our customers (end-users, partners, resellers, OEMs) and Regional Sales Managers (RSMs). The role is the main commercial interface for daily business transactions, including processing customer purchase orders, answering technical customer inquiries, providing product quotations, and issuing Return Material Authorizations (RMAs). This position supports industrial/commercial customers.This position will work in the office daily for the first three months and then will transition to a split work week with three days in office and two days off-site/work from home. Own the Order Management process using SAP S/4HANA, including entry, confirmation, release for shipment and invoicing. Handling and fulfilling incoming inquiries promptly from existing customers and prospects (phone, email, web-based). Supporting Regional Sales Managers with inquiries as requested. Sales support liaison with end-users, agents, distributors and drop-shipment vendors Providing technical support information, product technical datasheets and customer service to support sales effort. Handle customer questions regarding product features, pricing and technical issues. Accept all calls and inquiries in a friendly, courteous manner, and determine the nature of the call. Perform necessary research and actions to promptly provide resolution. Detail-oriented, organized and analytical Self-motivated, driven and strong communication skills are a must Two years' experience with customer service systems/processes preferably dealing with technical products or in a manufacturing environment Intermediate skill level with Microsoft programs (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams) required. Experience with CRM & ERP systems helpful -- Salesforce and SAP a plus Knowledge of explosion suppression a PLUS Knowledge of hazardous area electrical equipment and/or area static control equipment and procedures (preferred but not essential as training will be provided) Excellent communication skills in English required (verbal/read/write), Spanish would be a plus HOERBIGER offers a stable, team-based environment with opportunity for advancement.
