The defining characteristics of our Delivery Drivers are that they're organized, efficient, and able to adjust quickly to the needs of our customers and business.
However, apart from the technical skills that are required with the role, the most important attributes are that we demonstrate empathy, patience, kindness, friendliness, care and warmth to all our customers.
Our customers are predominantly over 75 years of age and rely upon our friendly staff to deliver outstanding customer service.
A refrigerated vehicle is provided to you, you are not required to use a personal vehicle for deliveries.
Key
Responsibilities:
Be an ambassador for the company in delivering exceptional customer service at all times.
Undertake pre-shift inspection of your van Safe driving style to be damage free and economical Clean and refuel your van as and when needed Make deliveries in a timely manner and contact the office with any discrepancies or delays Maintain customer confidentiality Pick customer orders when needed in warehouse freezer Improve efficiencies and putting them into practice Helping the office team where appropriate Reporting health and safety, stock quality and mechanical issues Qualifications and
Experience:
Essential:
Evidence of commitment and stability Good attendance and timekeeping Completing and submitting paperwork log for each shift Driving License in good standing Desirable:
Experience within a customer service or care-based role Experience of multi-drop delivery role Health & Safety training Personal Qualities:

You will demonstrate a real interest in people and be able to communicate effectively with members of the public and their families.
This is a people focused role and requires individuals who enjoy engaging with a wide variety of elderly customers.
To take an active interest in getting to know every customer and become a trusted friend.
A good listener, you'll be able to treat every customer as an individual.
Ability to communicate and relate to people at all levels.
To enjoy working as a team member and to be passionate about promoting the HTHM product range and service proposition Open and honest team player Outgoing Flexible, highly motivated and committed Promote good team work - help others.
Have a desire to help the team meet the department targets Be willing to undertake any training made available We are hiring multiple people to fulfil roughly 60 hours.
