We are seeking a friendly and customer-oriented Cashier to join our team.
As a Cashier, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, processing transactions accurately, and ensuring a positive shopping experience for our customers.
This position is available in both restaurant and retail settings.
Duties:
- Greet customers and provide prompt and courteous service - Process cash, credit, and debit card transactions accurately using the POS system - Maintain a clean and organized checkout area - Answer customer inquiries and provide information about products or services - Handle customer complaints or concerns in a professional manner - Upsell additional products or services to customers - Assist with food preparation (in restaurant settings) - Follow sanitation guidelines to ensure food safety (in restaurant settings) - Perform basic math calculations to calculate totals, discounts, and change - Maintain knowledge of current promotions, discounts, and special offers
Experience:
- Previous experience as a Cashier in a restaurant or retail environment is preferred - Familiarity with Aloha POS system is a plus - Strong cash handling skills - Basic math skills for accurate transaction processing - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail - Excellent communication and customer service skills Note:
