We are seeking a reliable and experienced Courier Driver to join our team.
As a Courier Driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods and packages to various locations in a timely and efficient manner.
This is a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our business.
Usually anywhere from 2-8 stops per route.
Routes can take anywhere from 3-8 hours to complete.
Unless you're STAT which can be as quick as 20 minutes.
Routes start time :
(YOUR CHOICE) 5:
30/6 PM OR 1 AM Mon-Fri 8 PM Sundays & Saturdays Office and startpoint located in Marlborough/Southborough Duties :
- Be able to safely and efficiently operate a vehicle and deliver packages in a timely fashion.
- Load and unload goods and small to medium sized packages, and small bins as needed.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, clients, and other team members to ensure accurate delivery information - No set schedule or set route, just ensure timely delivery of goods - Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving - Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including proof of delivery documentation Experience :
- At LEAST one (1) year of driving experience - Previous experience in commercial driving or courier services is preferred but not necessary - Strong communication skills to interact with dispatchers, clients, and team members Requirements :
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record - A realiable vehicle - A smart phone with a data plan - At LEAST one (1) year of driving experience - Ability to lift heavy packages (up to 50 pounds) every now and again - Excellent time management skills to meet delivery deadlines - Attention to detail and accuracy in collecting packages and recording delivery information NOT Required, but perfect for someone that lives in Marlborough or surrounding areas (Wellesley, Northborough, Southborough, Westborough, Framingham, Newton, Natick, Berlin, Ashland, Hudson, Hopkinton, Wayland.
Perfect 2nd Job after 9-5 or for a 7D Driver / Doordash Driver.
