Job Description:
Global Strategic Sourcing:
Collects and actively challenges current product or service requirements across all brands and geographies.
Looks for demand management opportunities and to leverage multi-divisional requirements and aggregate spend to crate larger sourcing pools to increase savings and value to .
Prepares and executes negotiation plans and involves legal as necessary
Pro-actively uses state of the art automated sourcing processes including but not limited to auctions, RFX's and relationship management systems.
Collaborates with Global Operations in populating sourcing events into Oracle's Sourcing module, makes decisions on sourcing event structure, supplier pool, selection criteria and event outcome criteria.
Supports Global Category managers of in the strategic development and delivery of select global and regional sourcing events.
Ensures a compliant source to pay process is in place for all initiatives
Implements communication strategies to ensure accurate and timely flow of information to leaders, stakeholders and suppliers
Global Supplier Management:
Manages strategic supplier relationships.
Maintains fair, courteous and productive relationship with all suppliers and reinforces positive brand image within the supplier community
Systemically and strategically searches for innovative products, services, approaches and strategic models to support low-cost, best value strategy.
Global Contract Compliance:
Manages contract compliance within specific categories and identifies opportunities for improvement within the functions and operating divisions
Global Stakeholder Management:
Stewards the value created by Global Sourcing and Procurement and collaborative teams to stakeholders and senior management to help reinforce commitment and involvement
Requirements:
Strong knowledge and presentation skills using Microsoft office products including Excel, PowerPoint, MS Word
Strong business and people management skills
Excellent interpersonal relationship development skills when interacting with staff members, colleagues, leaders, stakeholders and suppliers
Strong presentation skills with experience presenting information to leaders
Experience/track record in managing multinational stakeholders and suppliers
Oracle or similar e-sourcing/P2P experience/knowledge
Category Expertise in Information Technology Indirect Spend categories especially software and software renewals.
6 years strategic sourcing experience
Bachelor's degree in supply, marketing, finance or business management
Preferred certifications (any of the following): CPSM, SCMP or CIPS or Software Asset Management
Knowledge of software markets, suppliers and licensingEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
