Enterprise Monitoring Analyst
This position will require strong technical skills along with customer interaction to coordinate monitoring operations activities. Take ownership of issues in the CA Spectrum, eHealth and DPM environment. Engage CA support as required to ensure systems availability. Background in monitoring solutions, with a demonstrated ability for the management and maintenance of monitoring solutions (preferably Spectrum, eHealth, Gomez) and manage change in a large-scale, mission-critical environment.
Job Skill Requirements

Design customized monitoring solution for various application monitoring

Design architectural artifacts (physical, reference, network) from proposed CA solutions

Capacity planning for implementation

Integrations between Enterprise Software within CLI/API/DB/SNMP/etc (ie Service Now, HP SIM, SCOM, Autosys, MSSQL, Oracle, VCenter, etc)

Web Server Management and Web Interface Design

Data Parsing and Mining with SQL and CLI/API with Oracle, MSSQL, MySQL

Ability to traverse Databases (Oracle, MySQL, SQLLite)

Ability to troubleshoot within the Windows, UNIX VMWare platforms

Perform upgrades, applying hot fixes and patches of monitoring tools as required.

Tool rationalization: Analysis on tools that can be retired and removed

Document processes to discover, change and decommission devices in the monitoring tools

Ability to operate a personal computer and utilize Microsoft software including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

Must be flexible, analytical, and possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills (tact, diplomacy, influence etc.)

Ability to work in a small team setting.

Ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced work environment where priorities and deadlines are constantly in flux.

Communicates with 3rd party vendors

Assists in the preparation of departmental reporting using Microsoft Excel and Microsoft PowerPoint

Performs filing tasks under limited supervision

Supports projects in other functions as directed by Technical Analysts

File transfer: FTP, SFTP, MQ

Middleware : ESB, BizTalk

LDAP, Active Directory

Application Virtualization Package

Scripting knowledge of Perl
