Our client is seeking a Packaging Engineer.
Requirements:
Experience with enterprise level automated software deployments specifically SCCM; experience with FlexeraAdmin Studio and Microsoft App-V.
Primary responsibility would consist of preparing applications for automated deployment, in both native and App-V instances, as well as initial testing of application package builds.
An ideal candidate will be experienced in shell, powershell and vb scripting, and Microsoft App-V sequencing as well as InstallShield (Flexera Admin Studio) packaging.
The client is currently engaged in an enterprise implementation of SCCM so strong familiarity/ experience with SCCM is a must. Landesk experience is a plus.
A strong understanding of network basics and troubleshooting is required.
Good customer service skills are also required.
Looking for a self-motivated problem solver who can get up to speed quickly, requires minimal supervision, and is capable of mentoring other packagers in the immediate future.
