Senior Workforce Management Analyst

Performs and produces analysis to monitor the utilization efficiency of workforce planning applications. Provides recommendations, training and support to Field Leaders on workforce allocation/strategic scheduling tools. Designs and shares best methods, regarding how to utilize workforce applications and other tools, to maximize payroll efficiency, improve sales and operational execution, and identify trends.

Major Areas of Responsibility:

  • Responsible for supporting and improving business efficiencies and store productivity through strategic Workforce Management policies, processes, and reporting.
  • Executes important Workforce Management initiatives and supports Store execution of their Workforce tools.
  • Analyzes how effectively workforce applications are being utilized in all store locations.
  • Collaborates with Regional and District Experts on practices that drive performance through strategic scheduling.
  • Partners with Field and Home office Leaders to develop recommendations on how to improve performance to enhance bottom-line profitability within each store location.
  • Collaborates with IT and divisional business partners regarding technical issues/updates pertaining to workforce planning applications, Department of Labor guidelines, in-store challenges, or other system issues/tools.
  • Collaborates concurrently with Legal, Human Resources, IT, Associate Relations, and Payroll team on new store implementations, system updates, system issues, Customer Service impact, Expense Control, Associate Culture and/or future courses of business.

Requirements

  • Bachelor s Degree
  • 2
    years proven experience
  • Strong analytical and decision making skills
  • Experience with Exception Management and/or Exception Reporting
  • Strong technical skills, including proficiency with Excel
  • Strong communication, interpersonal and conflict resolution skills
  • Experience with coaching, change management, influencing others, and problem solving
  • Strategic planning and project management skills
  • Knowledge of associate relations policies/procedures and Federal/State labor/employment laws
