What you ll do
The Corporate Solution Delivery organization leads the evolving software and systems at TJX for Finance, Human Resources, Collaboration, and Analytics. We chase the big, strategic initiatives enabling TJX to make faster, smarter decisions every day. Enterprise Data and Analytics is part of Corporate Solution Delivery and is focused on Engineering and Analytics to help business meet their goals.
As a Data & Analytics Engineer you will take ownership of designing, building and managing Customer 360 analytics solutions for Enterprise Data & Analytics. In this role you will have the opportunity to drive and evolve C360 Landscape of TJX. You will partner with other Data Analytics teams, Business Stakeholders, other IT organizations at TJX, and 3rd party Vendors to help continuously augment C360 capabilities.

Critical skills needed:
- Bachelor s Degree or equivalent Engineering skillset / training / work experience in relevant technical domain
- Must have 5-8 years Engineering experience in relevant technical domain
- Must have 4 years of Datastage or Informatica or Talend (at least one of these)
- Basic experience in Cloud, Azure Cloud (preferred but other cloud experience acceptable)
- Experience in Data warehouse and implementation for Data Warehousing, Analytics and BI applications
- Understanding of data modeling
- Excellent experience with data profiling and analysis
- Excellent experience with source to target mapping
- Excellent experience building large scale ETL solutions.
- Strong experience with Unix/Shell scripting
- Excellent experience with SQL
Secondary (nice to have) skills:
- Significant experience in Talend for implementing large scale Data Engineering projects
- Experience in building ETL solutions in Cloud
- Experience with Snowflake database
- Experience in programing languages like Python, Shell Scripting and Scala.
- Experience in Linux, Windows and Spark platforms
- Good communication skills and team work focus mindset.
