About the role:

The Endoscopy Finance team is looking for a highly motivated Senior Financial Analyst/Data analytics expert that will play a key role within the Endoscopy finance group helping to transform and automate existing processes, leading key divisional projects, and providing backward and forward looking analytics and recommendations to help maximize divisional performance. This is a versatile role with opportunity to get broad P&L exposure.

This position will partner across the finance team, as well as with senior management of the division, providing support and consultation on their functional areas of the business.

The Position reports to the Endoscopy Director and has a high degree of cross-functional collaboration, as well as interaction with other divisional and regional finance groups across the organization.

Key
Responsibilities:

Finance transformation lead:

  • Assess key finance processes and existing reporting, work to streamline and automate
  • Play active role on Endoscopy margin improvement project, improving existing processes and analytics as well as building stronger partnership between the division and the plants to identify savings opportunities.
  • Lead Value Improvement Program for division help create division savings goals, participate in functional champions meetings to drive engagement and provide finance expertise to estimate and validate savings assumptions. Work across divisions, functions and regions to understand successful programs and bring them to Endoscopy

Data analytics and systems expert:

  • Provide key analytics to divisional management team to inform decision making.
  • Support sales analyst in monthly reporting and predictive analytics
  • Partner with other departments (IT, Sales Ops, Supply Chain, Marketing) and other divisions/regions to leverage tools, processes, and best practices
  • Design, develop and maintain various Financial and KPI Models, tools and dashboards leveraging Excel, Tableau & PowerBI software as appropriate with the aim of supporting decision making and providing insight to the business team.

Other Key
Responsibilities:

  • Design & develop financial models to support planning, forecasting and profitability at product and project levels
  • Lead adhoc divisional projects
  • Lead franchise P&L reporting to communicate accurate results to Franchise
  • Represent finance on key cross-functional / divisional initiatives, working to resolve and improve common issues
  • Assist with potential acquisition integration activities:
    identify key integration issues and tasks, and work with the finance team to identify best solution, owner(s) and timing
  • Develop headcount tracking with reconciliation to Corporate reports for actual & forecast, with report outs and recommendations to Endo Management Board on hiring capacity and support for internal headcount prioritization process.
  • Potential to take on month-end and forecast P&L and/or FP&A responsibilities around sales or cost center management.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Four to seven years of financial analysis, planning, and business support experience required.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Finance or Accounting required
  • Must be able to work well in a complex, highly matrixed worldwide organization and be able to simplify that matrix for reporting and analytical purposes.

Preferred
Qualifications:

  • Prior experience in a medium to large company.
  • MBA or masters a plus

The successful candidate will need to exhibit the following skills:

  • Self-starter with inquisitive, continuous improvement mindset and adaptability to take on different projects
  • Strong systems skills. Familiarity with Hyperion Planning and SAP a plus. Strong Excel skills required.
  • Ability to consolidate, synthesize and report on large amounts of financial data.
  • Very strong financial analysis skills. Attention to detail & data accuracy.
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work autonomously and act in a consultative role.
  • Exceptional organizational & time management skills are crucial. Environment is fast-paced and multi-tasking is essential.
  • Experience developing reports using Tableau
  • Experience developing dashboards using Tableau
  • Experience developing Alteryx workflows
  • Ideal candidate will show drive and ambition to develop and grow into more senior finance or data analytics roles.
